“One part clouds, two parts sunshine” is the dreamy tagline for one of our makers, Kerry Cassill. It wouldn’t be quite fair to play favorites, but these whisper soft linens take our breath away.
The early ’90s was a pretty amazing time for creative souls. After spending much of the decade exploring the planet for inspiration, Kerry found herself drawn to the colorful and eclectic Indian prints she discovered throughout the markets of Paris, and followed them to their origins in India where she began developing her own signature look. With additional influences that included early mentors like acclaimed colorist and textile designer Bridget Singh, and the colorful impressionistic styles of painter Vincent Farrell, Kerry Cassill’s unique and adventurous collection of clothing and bedding has become highly regarded and celebrated around the world.
Kerry Cassill’s quilts are hand-stitched with cotton batting layered between blissful layers of cotton. Each piece is stamped with prints that echo the passion sparked in the 90’s. Duvets repeat the gentle voile cotton with the addition of shell button closures. Duvet covers are reversible, with a complimentary print on each side.
As for the pillow talk, we’re pretty sure one can never have enough splendid cases. Easy-going patterns mix and match with each other; with your existing linens. Whimsy meets up with the clouds and sunshine for beautiful nights. The king cases are perfect for layering underneath a standard case to build a fresh look.
Add on flat and fitted sheets, playing with prints for an inventive design. The flats are one size that works well for both queen and king beds. Fitted sheets have a drawstring tie for a perfect fit. They are available in either queen or king.
At the studio, we currently have pillowcases and a set of sheets in stock. Since they are located in SoCal, we can place orders and have your home filled with “one part clouds, two parts sunshine” in a matter of days.
Come peek. I think you’ll soon be calling favorites.
